These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our products, software, websites, and services (collectively, the “Services”).
By purchasing or using any Lawaken product, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
About Lawaken
Lawaken (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a technology brand registered in Hong Kong SAR, developing and selling AI-powered smart glasses and related software experiences.
We may update or modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
Eligibility
If you are using the Services on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind them to these Terms.
Products and Availability
Product descriptions, images, and specifications on our website are for reference only.
We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee that all information is complete, current, or error-free.
We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or replace any product at any time without notice.
Orders and Payment
All prices are listed in the currency shown at checkout.
Payment must be made in full before an order is processed.
We accept major credit cards and other payment methods shown on our website.
Lawaken reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion, including suspected fraud or incorrect pricing.
Order Processing Time
Orders are typically processed within 1–5 business days, with an additional 5–7 business days for customized products.
Processing times may be extended during holidays or promotional periods.
Pre-Orders
Pre-orders may take longer to process and ship than regular orders.
Estimated shipping dates will be displayed at checkout and are subject to change.
Pre-orders follow the same cancellation and return policies as regular orders.
Shipping Policy
Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information.
Please ensure your shipping address is accurate — we are not responsible for delivery issues caused by incorrect information.
If your order arrives damaged or fails to arrive, please contact us within 10 days of the delivery date (or expected delivery date).
Include your order number, a brief description, and photos (if applicable). We will assist you in contacting the shipping carrier to resolve the issue.
Customs and Duties
International orders may be subject to import taxes, duties, and customs fees, which are determined by the destination country.
These charges are the customer’s responsibility.
Lawaken is not responsible for delays or additional costs caused by customs procedures.
Returns & Exchanges
You may return or exchange a product within 14 days of delivery if it is unopened, unused, and in its original packaging.
Return shipping, duties, and related costs are the responsibility of the customer.
To initiate a return, contact sales@lawaken.com with your order number and reason for return.
If the product has manufacturing defects or quality issues, Lawaken will provide a replacement.
We do not offer repairs — defective products will be replaced only.
Replacement Policy
Lawaken products include a 12-month limited replacement warranty from the date of purchase.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal use.
It does not cover:
- Human-caused damage (e.g., dropping, water damage, self-repair, etc.)
- Normal wear and tear (e.g., scratches, discoloration, aging of pads)
- Misuse, improper storage, or unauthorized modification
- Damage due to force majeure (e.g., fire, flood, earthquake)
- Products beyond the warranty period
To make a warranty claim, please contact sales@lawaken.com with proof of purchase and a detailed description of the issue.
Software and App Usage
Certain Lawaken products may require use of companion software or cloud services.
Future versions of these Services may include in-app purchases or subscriptions, which will be governed by additional terms and policies.
By using our software, you agree to receive automatic updates when available.
Features and functions may change due to software updates or policy adjustments. Lawaken does not guarantee the permanent availability of any specific feature.
Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, product designs, software, and technology associated with Lawaken are the exclusive property of Lawaken or its licensors.
You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute any part of our Services without written permission.
Prohibited Uses
The device must not be used for any illegal or unethical activities, including but not limited to:
• eavesdropping, covert recording, or invading others’ privacy;
• bypassing or tampering with technical protection measures;
• generating, distributing, or misusing AI-generated content in harmful or misleading ways.
Any violations arising from improper or unlawful use of the device shall be the sole responsibility of the user.
User Content
If you submit content (e.g., reviews, photos, feedback), you grant Lawaken a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display that content for promotional and operational purposes.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lawaken shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products or Services.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product that caused the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Lawaken, its affiliates, and employees harmless from any claim, loss, or damage arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of our Services.
Users shall bear any losses caused by the abuse of the product themselves. Lawaken shall not be held jointly liable.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration or courts located in Hong Kong SAR.
